In 1 Corinthians 16:12 Paul pleads with Apollos to go to Corinth, but he flat out refuses to go. Could anyone blame him? The Corinthians were a rough bunch. They even drove Paul nuts. Even Jesus said don’t cast your pearls before swine. Yet, we are called to be a light shining in darkness. So where do we draw the line?

Certainly, we are not to be abused by people. That is why it is so important to be in prayer and to be led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus called us to go into all the world and share his love and grace with those who sit in darkness. It is critical that we surrender to the Lord and allow  Him to direct our steps. Although it can be challenging at times, we go forth in the power of His might.

I encourage you today to be vessels molded of the Lord, to bring glory to Him. Then we will truly be blessed.

Who will you minister to today?
